You are the giver of happiness
This popular verse is taken from the Devi Mahatmyam of the Markandeya Puraana
सर्वमङ्गलमाङ्गल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थसाधिके ।
शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणि नमोऽस्तु ते ॥
Sarvamangala-maangalye
shive sarvaarth-saadhike.
Sharaṇye tryambake gouri
naaraayaṇi namo’stute.
O Lord, You are the embodiment of happiness and peace. You confer happiness and auspiciousness to everyone. You give us your loving protection and shelter. You are the radiant One whose multi-dimensional vision allows us bliss, protection and light of wisdom. Salutations to You.
