See God in everything

This verse is from the शिव तांडव ्तोत्र Shiva Taandava Stotram an ardent prayer of Ravana who was a staunch devotee until his ego and anger overtook him.

Driṣhad-vichitra-tal-payor bhu-jaṅga mauk-tika-srajor
gariṣhṭha-ratna-loṣhṭha-yo suhrid-vipaksha pakshayoh.
Triṅa-aravinda-chakshuṣhoh prajaa-mahee-mahendrayoh
Sama-pra-vritti-kah kadaa sadaashivam bhajaamyaham.

When can I see the sameness in the touch between comfort and discomfort?
When will I see the sameness in value between a Garland of pearls and a garland of a serpent?
When will I see sameness between a valuable ornament and a lump of clay?
When will I feel the sameness in the relationship between a friend and an enemy?
When will I realise the sameness between beauty and non-beauty?
When will I see the same beauty between the soul of an ordinary person and a king?
When will I worship that Great One with equality of action and vision?
