Help me overcome any obstacle

The origin of this verse is obscure, however, it has become a popular verse and is known as the mantra for protection and removal of obstacles.

वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा

Vakratuṇḍa mahaakaaya
soorya-koṭi samaprabha
nirvighnam kuru me deva
sarva-kaaryeṣhu sarvadaa.

O Lord, you have the radiance of a million suns. You are the power behind the wide space, all of creation and even the intricacies of the time/space dimension. You are our Lord, the lustrous One. Please bless us O Lord by removing any obstacles from our efforts and work.

Note: The literal meaning of this verse is quite uniquely different from the philosophical meaning. For example, the “curved trunk” could be said to refer to the “curvature” of space/time continuum concept.

वक्रतुण्ड curved trunk curved time/space dimension महाकाय महा great, huge का body, refers also to the wide space within which every planet and galaxy exists सूर्यकोटि million suns (light of a million suns); powered by one whose light is more than innumerable suns समप्रभ brilliance of निर्विघ्नं free of obstacles कुरु – कृ to do – please do, please bless; in context कुरु also means make (to cause to happen) मे my देव illuminated/radiant God सर्वकार्येषु all work/effort सर्वदा at all times, ever, forever

Note: The origin of the verse is obscure. However, it may have its origin in Verse 99 of the
